This is an official announcement direct from the IHMN office in the Explorer’s Club, Pall Mall, London.
After careful consideration, and following a query from a member of the Imperial Society of Rules Engineers, we declare that the English All-Electric Truncheon shall henceforth ignore armour in the same fashion as an Arc weapon. Thus the only sure protection against it shall be a Faraday Coat.
The Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police has been informed of this change and he has replied that many of his stalwart Constables have been eagerly waiting this announcement.
The Truncheon’s cost will increase by 3 points as a result, to 6 points.
Lord Cartmell and Sir Charles Murton esq.
2nd September 1895.
